The marks of another gospel

“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to prevent the gospel of Christ.

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed”.

Greetings to you in the living and loving name of our Lord and SAVIOUR Jesus Christ,

The reformers like Martin Luther, John Wycliffe and others preached the Word of God and the gospel. By their efforts many Christians were brought back to the Word of God from rituals and traditionalism. 

But in these last days, we have many preachers who take the believers away from the Word of God by their wrong interpretation of the Scriptures and imposition of their experience and views into the Scriptures. They have even introduced a ‘different gospel’ in the name ‘prosperity gospel’ and ‘full gospel’. The Bible says that we have to test their validity as in I John 1:4 and avoid them Rom 16:17.

In this issue we deal with the gospel. Our prayers are that the Lord would raise a group of believers who will not delete the gospel by their own interpretation of the Scriptures. But “Contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints” Jude 3.
