Characteristics of a Wise and Virtuous Wife

Here are few characteristics of a wife described in Titus 2:4, 5.

• She loves her husband.

• She loves her children.

• She is discreet – tactful or sensitive or careful.

• She is chaste – pure and virtuous.

• She is a good homemaker – excellent keepers of home.

• She is good in all respects, especially morally.

• She is obedient to her own husband.

There won’t be any problem in the house where all these virtues are present in the wife. Such a wife will be the wise and virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31:10, 11. “Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her. So he will have no lack of gain.
