Revival in the Kitchen for Revival in the Church?

Edward England, while writing about David Watson quoted the following favourite story of Watson – David Watson had a friend by name Bishop Festo Kinengene. One evening Festo had an argument with his wife. Later he had to go out and preach in a church. So without settling the problem with his wife he left home. When he reached the main gate of his house, the Lord spoke to him.
“Festo” said the Lord, “You go back and apologise to your wife”. “But Lord I’ve got a very important sermon to preach”.
“You go and apologise to your wife” said the Lord. “But Lord, there are hundreds of people waiting for me and we’re going to have a good time tonight”.
“You must go and apologise to your wife” the Lord commanded, “But Lord, I’m almost late and someone’s waiting to collect me”.
“All right” the Lord said. “You go and preach your sermon and I’m going to stay with your wife in the kitchen”.
Bishop Festo obeyed the Lord. He went back into the kitchen and apologised for hurting his wife. “There was a revival in the kitchen before there was a revival in the church”, later observed the Bishop.
For a revival in the ministry, the husband must have the right relationship with his wife. The Bible calls husbands to live with wives with understanding for spiritual blessings. “Likewise you husbands, dwell with them with understanding, giving honour to the wife, as to the weaker vessel and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered” I Pet 3:7.
